I am Angela Martincich, a strength trainer and accountability partner. I am a 34 year-old criminalist, who found fitness out of a desire to be comfortable in my own skin.
I struggled with body image for majority of my life. Fortunately, everything changed when I turned 30 and started strength training. I have never looked back. I promote the balance of the body and mind, emphasize clean eating, and implement various styles of fitness, from the calm of yoga to the fast pace of kickboxing. I also advocate for mental control and discipline in order to best achieve a healthy lifestyle.
My first love was running. I am currently working to achieve my goal of running in my first marathon. Also, since variety is the spice of life, I am currently studying to obtain my personal trainer certification, while working to compete in my first figure competition.
Since changing career tracks, I wake up excited every day to see what the day holds. Nothing makes me happier than hearing from my clients and seeing their excitement when they reach their first goals. To me, there is no greater joy than seeing other people happy with their bodies and taking pride in what they have accomplished. Social media has given new life to the world of fitness, showing everyone that both men and women can be strong and beautiful, that healthy does not mean boring, and that workouts can be fun and engaging for the whole family. I want to be a positive influence on those around me, and I support the idea that strong is sexy. To spread my message, I created a Facebook page, FitLife Daily. Here, I share my own journey, while giving others a place to find support and motivation to keep moving.
