I am a mother of two young energetic boys and I have an amazingly supportive husband who also shares my love for fitness. I have a past that’s sprinkled with fitness and I’ve always taken part of some sort of sport. After my children were born, I took up running as a way to relieve stress. It became a part of our lives and progressed from running for fun to competing in races. Over time I discovered obstacle course racing and within the last couple of years, it has become one of my favorite things to do and I’m very passionate about sharing fitness and nutrition tips.
In my community where I live, we have an obstacle course racing team called Team Burgh. We have about 100 members and a select core group that race regularly and train on a daily basis. I am currently a WOR (Women of Obstacle Racing) Pro Team member. I am also a Juice Plus+ Superfood Edge athlete. I am active on social media and I love the opportunity to help StrongFigure share my love for health and fitness.
