Every blog in the health and fitness world has a post either out right now or coming out soon about Thanksgiving. There’s this insane amount of pressure for me to do the same.
- “Create a healthy Thanksgiving menu!”
- “Put together fall-flavored pumpkin spiced apple cinnamon warm goey crisp yet still protein packed desserts!”
- What about, “How to burn off all those Thanksgiving Day calories?”
I actually did that last one….two years ago. It hardly got any response. Maybe that’s because Strong Figure was brand then. And maybe it’s also because we published the workouts the day after Thanksgiving and everyone was more concerned with shopping. One of our first lessons learned about posting articles was that we should never post on a holiday. No one has time to sit around and read blog posts when they’re not bored at work. Duh.
So THAT said, I decided I’d compile the BEST of the BEST Thanksgiving tips. From food, to fitness, heck–I’ve even got your shopping deals–here’s ONE post that will bring you what you need for a healthy, fun, Thanksgiving holiday!

PS–What’s your favorite Thanksgiving tradition? If you think mine is shopping, guess again! It’s having left over turkey sandwiches on toasted bread and mayo. Guilty, guilty pleasure, and long time dad and daughter tradition. It reminds me of “Home.”
