Are you a little worried about gaining a few pounds this holiday season–especially when gyms are changing their hours and shutting down early–or closing completely? No worries–I’ve got ya covered. I have three different versions of an in-home workout designed for any fitness level and all three can be done in a small space. The only equipment you need is yourself. Pick one and try to complete it on the day that you know you’ll be eating more than normal. The goal is to jump start your metabolism for the day so that you can burn more calories as you eat more food.
Beginner Level One: Complete 1-5 Rounds of the following exercises:
- 30 Squats
- 25 Second Plank Hold
- 20 Alternating Lunges
- 15 Pushups
- 10 Burpees
Intermediate Level Two: Complete 1-3 Rounds of the following exercises:
- 100 Squats
- 90 Second Plank Hold
- 80 Alternating Lunges
- 70 Donkey Kicks (35/leg)
- 60 Mt. Climbers
- 50 Tricep Pushups or Tricep Dips (off a chair, sofa, etc.)
- 40 Bridge Pulses
- 30 Regular Pushups
- 20 Plank Holds Alternating knees to elbows
- 10 Burpees
Advanced Level Three: Complete 1 Round for time (or more if you’re super crazy)
