Today’s workout is “only” 15 minutes long. But you know as well as I do that 15 minutes of interval style training like this is a complete beotch to accomplish! So here’s my challenge and it’s something that I learned from the Barbell Shrugged guys: go at 80% of your max for the first 80% of the workout. When you’re closing in on the last couple of rounds, then you give 100% effort!
15 Minutes: As many rounds as you can:
- 10 Burpee Box Jumps
- 20 Kettlebell Swings
If you don’t have equipment, perform burpees to a target at a minimum of six-ten inches above your reach. So when you jump up from the bottom of the burpee, make yourself reach for a target much taller than you! And for the swings, sub out lunges–10/leg. Then enjoy the rest of your weekend!
