Thanksgiving is one week away! I don’t know about you but I am so excited. I just keep seeing wine goblets and sweet potato casserole floating through my brain. 😉
Each year, I make my “now-famous” sweet potato casserole for our Thanksgiving meal. Several years ago I found a recipe similar to Boston Market’s and I’ve been making this dish ever since. In fact I’ve had to double my recipe to ensure that everyone gets enough! Here’s the recipe for you! Enjoy it–this is my favorite dish ever.

If you’re looking for more Turkey-day recipe options, I have this post that includes seven healthier sides and desserts for your health-conscious crew.

And still, if that isn’t enough, last year I put together a post compiling all the important needs of a successful Thanksgiving, including how to estimate serving sizes and Black Friday shopping deals!
All You Need for Thanksgiving is Here
You only need one more thing to make your Thanksgiving complete! A good workout! Here’s your Strong Figure Workout for tomorrow, as well as some great options to keep in mind for your upcoming holiday.
10 HIIT Workouts to Get You through the Holidays
Tomorrow’s Strong Figure Conditioning Workout is:
8 Rounds of
- 5 Push-ups
- 10 Sit-ups
- 15 Squats
If you want to make this harder, grab a couple of dumbbells and every time you do a push-up, add in an upper body row. You can squat with one weight, or with both of your dumbbells on your shoulders.
THE FOOD OBVIOUSLY. No just kidding, but not really….since I practice gratitude on a daily basis, I am excited to spend a day with others doing so. BUT i am very excited for the food, I AM MAKING ALL MY OWN, a big challenge but it will ensure I’m safe 😉
Good luck Amber!! I admire anyone who takes on a full Thanksgiving meal by themselves! Let us know how it goes..I am assuming there will be a blog post on that? Ha 🙂
