Fitness has always been a very important part of my life. I was a competitive jump roper as a child. After training for ten years, I earned a gold medal at the Junior Olympics. I love any type of training that makes me sweat, such as HIIT, resistance training, yoga, and hiking. My motto for fitness is simply to MOVE and be CONSISTENT.
I will soon graduate from James Madison University with a degree in Kinesiology, and I am very excited for the opportunities ahead of me in the “real world.” Throughout college, I worked as a Personal Trainer, Boot Camp Instructor, and Fitness Instructor. I discovered that I thoroughly enjoy working one-on-one with people to help them reach their fitness goals.
After graduation, I plan to take some time to develop and learn more about mental toughness, leadership, and business management, as I plan to open my own business one day. My business will teach proper posture, nutrition, and training skills to help people achieve peak performance and reach their maximum potential. I believe that everything in the body is connected, and I plan to promote that concept to my future clients.
The phrase “Never a failure, always a lesson” has been very influential, not only in fitness, but in my life. No matter what life’s circumstances, a lesson can be learned from any situation and lead to changes in the future. This mindset is crucial for dealing with negative thoughts or situations. It helps me to view them as opportunities to grow and learn as I enter a new stage of my life.
I am very active on my Instagram page and make daily posts about training, nutrition, posture, and motivation, so follow me! I am beyond grateful to be a part of this Strong Figure community!
