Hello All! My name is Rebecca and I am originally from a small, rural town in Wisconsin. I am currently a student at the University of Northern Iowa studying Exercise Science and Biology and hope to become a Pediatric Physician Assistant in four years (if all goes as planned!)I have been an athlete my entire life, participating in volleyball and softball. I achieved my dream of playing college softball, but had to give it up due to a torn ACL. Although I thought my life was over after this injury, it actually turned out for the best. I was tested both mentally and physically and grew a lot in both areas. I was able to discover that there was a life outside of softball and other things I could do to remain physically active. I learned weightlifting while in softball and carried it out throughout my rehabilitation.
I now enjoy lifting, running, and mixing up my workouts often! I recently ran my first Tough Mudder and became hooked! I am signed up for another one next month. 🙂 I enjoy training for mud runs and know there is always room for improvement. I firmly believe that it doesn’t matter what you look like, as long as you are working hard to become the best version of you!
