Like many boys, I started in sports at an early age. My dad introduced me to strength training in grade school, and I have been lifting ever since! While my competitive athletics days are mostly behind me (never say never!), I am still an avid weight lifter, cyclist and runner. I also enjoy hiking and just about any activity that allows me to get outdoors and breathe it all in.
I’m a firm believer that fitness doesn’t have to be defined by one’s age, and I am constantly working on elevating my fitness. I’m 44 years of age and keeping up with guys half my age. My personal training goals are not so much related to aesthetics as they are to function and performance.
One of my passions is helping others with their fitness, whether it is just starting out or training for an event. Not only witnessing but helping others elevate their fitness is an experience like no other!
