Hi guys! My name is Alexandra and I’m currently a nursing student at Bon Secours Memorial College of Nursing in Richmond, VA. I graduated from James Madison University in 2011 with a degree in Psychology, but decided to go back to pursue my passion of healthy living. I am certified in LesMills BodyCombat, Sh’Bam and CXWORX and teach at American Family Fitness in Richmond. I also used to teach at the Gold’s Gym in Harrisonburg with Steph and Ali! These classes made me absolutely fall in love with fitness, and without a doubt changed my life.
In addition to Group Ex classes, I have a new found love for lifting weights and eating clean. I began lifting in April when I started working out with my trainer, in pursuit of cleaning up my diet and gaining muscle. He helped me not only reach, but surpass my goals; and I am healthier and happier than I’ve ever been. I continue to focus on building my strength and plan to enter my first NPC Bikini competition upon completing my nursing degree.
My goals are to inspire and reach as many people as possible to achieve a healthy, confident lifestyle. I’m a strong believer in “if there’s a will there’s a way.” Anything can happen when you want it badly enough!
