Tabatas!
Today’s workout will consist of four Tabata rounds: Squats, Push-ups, Sit-ups, and Shuttle Sprints.
Each exercise will be completed in the following format:
- 8 times: 20 seconds of work followed by a 10 second break.
During the 20 seconds, you must work as hard as you can! Count your repetitions and stay consistent.
The breaks are only 10 seconds long–no longer! You must be done with each exercise in four minutes. (8×20:10 per exercise)
Take a one-minute break after each 4-minute set.
To make the workout harder:
- Use a kettlebell or dumbbell for squats
To make the workout easier:
- Do six rounds of work instead of 8 for each exercise.
Make sure you use proper form throughout the movements! Warm up properly and don’t forget to stretch when you’re done!
